Job description

I am looking for Assistant Maître D’s for a leading cruise line.

Responsibilities:

Supervises all food and beverage service functions in the Café/Restaurant’s and Room service as assigned by the Maitre D; Greet each customer or guest as they enter restaurants; Book reservations; Provide information about the restaurant to a potential patron;

Requirements:

Cruise ship experience in a similar position or a lower position with Restaurant manager experience on land; Strong experience in a guest facing service role within a luxury environment; Confident, well-presented with a warm and welcoming demeanor.; Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests.; Ability to read and write English, understand written procedures and able to present information and respond to guests, supervisors, and co-workers;
