The post holder will ensure new product introduction and create processes for the manufacture of components. They will build solid models from customer drawings, reverse engineer customer models and produce stage drawings using Solid Works.
Roles and Responsibilities
To Assist in quotation processes inclusive of manufacturing times
To assist the Engineering Manager in problem solving design and develop increased efficiencies through change requests
To minimize non-conformancies through involvement with 7D analysis
To actively engage in continuous improvement projects
To ensure CNC programs are managed through company control procedures
To oversee tooling supplies inclusive of tool stores processes
To conform with company procedures and policies in peforming the above activities
The timely implementation of the h&s policy and best practice, while maintaining a compnay wide safety culture
Qualifications
HNC / HND equivalent (NVQ at level 4)
IT at level 2 and 3
GCSE A-C Grades in English and Maths
Knowledge in CAM (desirable)
