Senior Finance Analyst
Finance Analyst
Location: Flexible working with visits to our office in Wimbledon as and when required.

We are delighted to announce that we have a great opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Group Finance team here at Domestic General. Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this role will assist the business as they seek to articulate the trading implications of operational decisions. They will business partner across the business ensuring decisions are commercially sound and understood.
In addition, they will be responsible for providing a financial overview of the team’s financial responsibilities as well as co-ordinating and communicating departmental deadlines. They will ensure the Senior Finance Business Partner can effectively represent Finance on appropriate leadership teams through:

Key responsibilities:
Responsible delivery of Month End process in a timely manner working with the UK Finance Team. This includes review of monthly transactions, preparing accruals and prepayments.
Provision of monthly reporting with key linkages between financials and operational metrics.
Monthly reviews with all budget holders to discuss performance against budget, effectively tracking risks and opportunities.
Co-ordination of all relevant forecasting inputs, producing consistent and accurate financial outputs driven by efficient models.
Co-ordinate with other members within the team to enable delivery of reporting and forecasting requests determined by the Financial Planning & Analysis and Group Finance teams
Produce departmental financial overviews, review existing processes to enable consistent and effective approaches within the team.
Support in the continued roll out of our new General Ledger, Workday.
Any other activities required by the wider team in supporting the Business Partnering team.
Skills and experience required for this:
Technically competent on Excel and PowerPoint
Attention to detail essential as well as being able to build effective relationships with stakeholders across all levels
Good commercial awareness
Capable of working collaboratively across functions.
Able to use initiative and be a self starter
A critical thinker with analytical and problem solving skills
Currently working in a Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partnering role
Ability to maintain professional relationships with senior management
Demonstrate an active role in process improvements
Numerate degree or substantial experience
Finalist or Fully Qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent
