A global manufacturing business based in Belfast require an Assistant Accountant to join their team, are you an experienced Assistant Accountant who is comfortable with the month end processes?

VANRATH are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland’s most recognisable employers who are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team, initially on a 6 month contract basis.

The Ideal Person

If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant;

• Third level education or IATI qualified
• 18 months accounting experience within a similar role
• Management accounts prep experience
• Involvement in either AP or AR function

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Accountant you will:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in various foreign currencies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly finance reports
• Cashflow forecasting
• Preparation of monthly VAT Returns
• Stock reconciliations and assisting in stock control and reporting
• Provide support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions when required
