Axcis are currently working with a primary school in Stockport, who are looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
We're seeking an experienced and driven Level 2 Teaching Assistant to become a part of a Stockport based innovative and inclusive primary school community. We're in search of individuals with expertise in supporting children both in the classroom and outdoors. The school is based in central Stockport and is easily accessible on public transport as well as having its own on site parking. The school has lovely links to the local community and has a real family feel amongst the staff, children and families. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent. You must have prior experience working with children which can be referenced. The ideal candidate must be proactive, energetic and show a get up and go attitude towards their work. Child and adult enhanced DBS registered on the update service is essential along with an overseas police check if you have been overseas for more than 6 months in the last 5 years.
