CER is looking for a Behaviour Manager to work in an SEN school in Middlesbrough.

A successful candidate will have worked in a school before, or have relevant SEN experience in either healthcare or another sector, which they can transfer over to an education setting.

The school, based in Middlesbrough, is a specialist provision for children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and other SEN needs including ASD and ADHD.

The school are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff. They are looking for people who will enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and who have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
• Have worked with children or adults with special needs before
• Be able to challenge children when they display negative behaviour
• Be a qualified teaching assistant or have a transferable skill
