Job description
We are currently looking for a Control Engineer for our client, a developer of electrical vehicles who brings real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars. The successful candidate will deliver a wide variety of bespoke software to ensure safe, effective behaviour of the vehicle systems.
The Control Engineer will:
Perform robust validation that software achieves key performance and safety goals through HIL testing.
Develop control software, typically in a MATLAB/Simulink environment.
Gather and document software requirements.
Deploy, test & calibrate software on rig and/or vehicle.
The Control Engineer will have:
A relevant degree level qualification.
Experience of MATLAB/Simulink.
Strong grounding in engineering mathematics.
A good technical understanding of major systems on a high-performance EV.
Ability to capture requirements and deliver significant system components independently.
