Job description

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Extensions and Special Circumstances Team Administrator for a 4-month contract on a rate of £14.11. The working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9am till 5pm. Hours: full-time (35 p/w), Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Home working Monday to Thursday, Friday based in the Office.

 
Responsibilities:  

 
- The post holder will work with a team of 10 permanent administrators, acting as the first point of contact for student applications in relation to coursework extensions and special circumstances, reviewing and authorising applications in line with an agreed framework.
- They will resolve queries via email from students, Schools, and Colleges across the organisation.

 
Essential Skills:  

 
- Good IT skills – experience of learning new systems 
- Experience in following processes, regulations, and policies 
- Can work remotely on own but as part of a team 
- Excellent attention to detail 
- Comfortable in dealing with high volumes
- Ability to prioritise workload to ensure that service deadlines are met
