What's the role?
This Field Trials Officer position will be hands-on from day one!
This business has been providing independent trials services for the industry. As they work with businesses across the UK, no two days will be the same.
One day you might be trialling a new chemical, the next you might be sampling soil, the next you might be working on a trial for a new variety of crop.
Your days could vary from trial planning and sowing the seed, to harvesting and data analysis, but you'll always be learning!
What skills do I need?
You'll have a keen interest in agriculture, and ideally have a couple of years of experience in trials or agricultural R&D.
Loving the outdoors will serve you well in this role as you will work directly with field crops, getting hands-on in the set-up and establishment of field trials.
You will be passionate about the industry and ready to take on exciting new challenges in your work. PA1 and PA2 would be great, but it's still worth chatting to us even if you don't have them.
