Apprentice Job Summary:
Join our Operations team as an apprentice, working closely on day-to-day activities within the department. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and contribute to various aspects of business operations. As an apprentice, you will play a vital role in updating databases, communicating with EVC clients and customers, and actively participating in the efficient delivery of tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Database Management:
- Learn and actively participate in updating and maintaining comprehensive databases containing key information about company assets.
- Supplier Communication:
- Assist in maintaining communication with suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of installations.
- Process Improvement:
- Work alongside experienced team members to streamline existing processes and contribute ideas for implementing more efficient methods.
- Operational Support:
- Support the Operations team as a whole during busy periods.
- Engage in frequent communication with the operations team to keep them informed on the progression of jobs.
- Administrative Assistance:
- Gain hands-on experience by carrying out general administrative ad hoc tasks.
- Customer Interaction:
- Develop skills in assisting customers and clients over the phone.
- Learn to close customer support emails/tickets to their satisfaction.
- Weekend On-Call Learning:
- Periodically participate in weekend on-call duties, reviewing tickets to ensure no significant issues arise and escalating when necessary.
Skills
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office Applications, particularly Excel.
- Develop a pro-active and reactive approach to all tasks.
- Cultivate teamwork and maintain a positive attitude in a collaborative environment Enhance communication and interpersonal skills under guidance.
Personal Profile:
- Desire to gain experience in B2B and B2C Operations support.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the execution of operational processes.
- Demonstrate drive, commitment, and a keen desire to learn and progress in a fast-paced, changing industry.
