Job description

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

EKFB are looking for a Foreman to join the team in our Greatworth to Southam (G2S) section of works. This position will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring the work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required. This includes completing the Works in line with the Project policies and procedures as outlined in the EKFB BMS.

You will ensure all works are completed in line with approved method statements and risk assessments and the people carrying out the works have the required competencies. This includes facilitating work inductions, effective toolbox talks, daily task briefings and point of work risk assessments to site personnel. You will ensure all site personnel have job relevant training requirements which is recorded and monitored on a regular basis.
You will also order and manage hired/internal equipment daily and co-ordinate delivery /pick up of materials as required. You will carry out and record site inspections and proactively drive progress of the works, challenging methods to maximise progress and minimise costs. You will schedule, co-ordinate and supervise the daily activities of Site Operatives and track and document daily work production with the use for example site diaries, allocation sheets and requisitions.
You will ensure site operatives complete all required documentation in line with EKFB policies and procedure and co-ordinate and manage the work the work of subcontractors on site.

About The Candidate

- Extensive experience working on site & on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
- Experiences of working on either Earthworks, Structures, Highways, Drainage & Utilities
- Excellent communication, organisational, planning, time and team management skills
- CSCS supervisor card
- SMSTS qualification
- You must hold a full driving license to be considered for this role
- Desired: First aid Training and Environmental awareness
