Job description
We are recruiting for a Sales CoOrdinator on behalf of a Stockport based surfacing company that installs artificial surfacing across the UK offers a ten year product and five year installation guarantee have 20 years experience from within the play surfacing industry and install their range of artificial grass wetpour and resin bound surfacing in schools nurseries council play areas and on larger landscape architect led projects. On offer is a salary of up to 25000 the opportunity to be part of a growing business and because of this the opportunity to progress to a senior internal level within the company and then to an externally based Sales Manager.
This role is best suited to someone who is looking to start their sales career journey and is offering experience covering costing quoting managing inbound enquiries following up on quotes used by their Estimator and Sales Managers business development experience with targets to make outbound calls to play companies schools and councils to generate new and repeat business as well as ensuring all project folders are up to date and correct prior to handing over to the operations teams.
There is a genuine opportunity to progress into a more senior role and further on from that to become a Sales Manager in your own right. Full initial and ongoing training and support will be given by the Estimator Sales Managers and wider team to ensure you have the best opportunity for success as you grow into this role and are fully supported as you progress your career within sales.
As the Internal Sales CoOrdinator you will be taking on responsibility for:
- Costings and Quotations ensuring both costs and quotes are accurate and allow for set margin expectations and match contractual specifications.
- Sales Administration collating project folders as well as recording all sales related contact.
- Managing inbound enquiries.
- Following up on quotations that have been provided by yourself the Estimator and Sales Managers.
- Developing new business with Schools Councils and Play Companies.
- Supporting the wider team including Key Account and Sales Managers.
Alongside this the Sales CoOrdinator will be:
- Working closely with the wider team including Operations and Customer Service.
- Attending management meetings providing detailed information as required.
- Proactive in looking and suggesting ways to improve performance of the company.
- Ensuring at all times best in sector service is delivered.
Requirements
To be considered as the Sales CoOrdinator you will need:
- Related experience this could be working as a Project / Contract or Operations CoOrdinator or in an internal sales role customer service role or in a counter based sales role.
- Confidence a friendly approach a good memory be used to multitasking and want to be part of a company that puts equal importance on customers and their own teams always look to exceed the expectations of their clients and develop their teams.
- Good communication and reporting skills selfmotivated with strong attention to detail skills.
- A driving licence and be happy to travel around the wider Midlands and North West area which could include overnight stays.
- A genuine passion for sales business development and customer service.
- To be living within commuting distance of Stockport.
