AC ENGINEER
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced AC Engineer. This role is on a full-time permanent basis servicing our clients’ various contracts in London and the South East region of England.
As an AC Engineer you will be required to support the clients objects to maintain the efficiency, effectiveness and longevity of the HVAC equipment according to legislation.
This is a mobile role.
AC Engineer – Duties:
- maintain and repair ventilation and air-conditioning systems and equipment;
- undertake PPM, servicing and repair works across various contracts;
- attend call-outs during normal working hours and, in addition, be part of the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota;
- troubleshoot issues with a system as they are identified;
- conduct performance tests with specialist tools and make adjustments as necessary;
- wearing relevant company issued PPE and clothing; and
- submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets.
AC Engineer – Requirements:
- knowledge of HVAC plant;
- knowledge and experience of air conditioning systems and their controls;
- knowledge of Legionella and overall health and safety;
- ability to fault find and service all HVAC control manufacturer’s equipment;
- valid driving licence;
- F-Gas 2079 Cat 1
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and
- self- motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
AC Engineer - Offer:
- Hours per week are 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable, 40 hour week;
- Salary ranging between $38k to £43k Depending on Experience
- 25 days holiday (not including bank holidays);
- Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution, 5% employee);
- Overtime available but not guaranteed;
- Tablet and phone;
- Company uniform;
- Company works vehicle; and
- employee referral scheme of £1,000.
