Job Description
- Overseeing all transport operations to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Developing and implementing strategic transport plans.
- Enhancing the quality of customer service within the transport division.
- Managing the transport budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with transport laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with other department heads to optimize operations.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Driving employee engagement within the transport team.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Transport Management CPC and previous Olicence responsibility
- Strong experience and examples of success within continuous improvement
- Experience of performance management across large numbers of employees
- A positive attitude towards health and safety excellence
- Proven examples of exceeding KPI targets and motivating a team
- Ideally past experience off fast paced transport environment,
- Experience of working in a unionized environment
