MARKETING EXECUTIVE / HAILSHAM / GBP24,500 – GBP27,000 PER ANNUM

Exciting new opportunity for a dynamic Marketing Executive to join a long–standing organisation with an excellent reputation!

Marlow Ropes Ltd are the UK's leading synthetic fibre rope manufacturer. With our manufacturing roots in East Sussex dating back to 1807 and an enviable brand reputation going back over 60 years, we manufacture on–site and export our specialist, quality products around the globe.

Reporting into the Marketing and Communications Manager the successful candidate will play an important part in helping to deliver innovative and dynamic marketing activity in line with the overall international marketing strategy. As a Marketing Executive you will be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth running of the Marketing department and the effective activation of marketing campaigns by carrying out important administrative tasks and assisting in marketing activities.

This role is busy and full of variety, working across several different business sectors and marketing channels, you'll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks with a can–do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

This is an "In–Person" role, and we are unfortunately unable to offer a working from home option.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive:

• Supporting the marketing manager with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns. A keen eye on data and analytics will serve you well here.
• Alongside the Marketing Manager, take responsibility for organising and coordinating marketing events such as trade shows, conferences, and training seminars.
• Liaise with external agencies to produce marketing materials and collateral.
• Assist with the implementation of the social media strategy, extending to the creation and posting of content across all social media accounts and creating monthly monitoring reports.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with managing and communicating with our portfolio of partners, sponsors, and ambassadors.
• Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to monitor campaign efficiency and analyse trends.
• As directed by the Marketing Manager, provide administrative and project support for all marketing activity across the company's sectors.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum A–Level or equivalent (BTEC, NVQ 3 or 4) qualification in Marketing.
• 2+ years of proven experience in marketing, events, PR, or a related field.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention–to–detail.
• Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus.
• An enquiring mind, commercial acumen, and passion for marketing.
