Job description
Are you a compliance officer or specialised in internal risk controls and ready to take your career to the next level? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international private bank based in Jersey, conducting comprehensive investment-led wealth management for an international client base, including both private client and fiduciary services.
Within this role you will review and test the operational output and procedures to identify any non-compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations and to implement corrective actions to address process and control deficiencies. This risk assurance role requires to complete risk controls, amongst other things, you will manage implementation of the fiduciary controls programme. Monitoring and testing of controls in place. The completion of “thematic based” reviews and testing based on generic and systemic risk points using sample testing and control / monitoring analysis from NavOne. Identifying risk issues for clients including potential litigation, claim, financial loss, reputational damage, tax issues or filing of complaints.
To be considered for this important role candidates should have gained at least 5+ years experience in a relevant position with exposure to at least one or more of the following sectors: Private Banking, Trust, Wealth Management and Funds. A recognised AML/Compliance qualification is also desired.
You will need to be an analytical thinker with professionalism and enterprise plus have knowledge of legal, regulatory and industry requirements. Change management, strategic and commercial awareness with the added ability to make decisions. Excellent communication skills and relationship building completes the job requirements.
