Near Farnborough, North Hampshire - Some Hybrid working available

Up to £60k + Bonus + Benefits

We’re looking for a Product Manager who would like to work in a small dynamic team and focus on monitoring/data acquisition products, delivering solutions that meet their customers needs.

Work will be split between; discovery, long term strategy, and ensuring released products are constantly monitored and roadmaps are up to date and prioritised effectively. Typically, the Product Manager will work alongside a Project Manager and Technical Lead depending on the scale of the product development.

These monitoring and data acquisition products are used by scientists, engineers, and business teams to drive decision making across the energy, ocean science and defence sectors. The Product Manager in this business stream will work to achieve growth and market alignment by understanding user requirements, converting these into products whilst driving development and strategy alongside Business Development.

As a Product Manager you do not need to be the technical authority and this is not a project management opportunity.

There will be some travel occasionally to testing & trials facilities, customer sites, trade shows and customer demonstrations.

•Writing Functional Specifications

•Presentation skills

•Understanding of UI design and UX

•Understanding of margins and profitability of products

•Understanding key selling points of products and what drives purchasing decisions

•Prioritisation of workload

•Prioritisation of features/user value

•Understanding user needs

•Experience with optimizing large datasets

•Experience with Jira

•Software Development background

•Survey or subsea industry background

•Worked with Hardware/Electronics and Software

•Understanding of underwater acoustics

•Understanding of Edge computing applications

Benefits include:

•Bonus - PRP (not guaranteed but has paid up to 20%)

•Hours of work are 8.30 – 5pm (flexitime available)
