Occupational Therapist
3-Month Contract, with View to Extend
London Borough LA
£20-£27 per hour
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in the London Borough LA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate the needs of service users with learning disabilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance daily living skills and independence.
Provide expert advice on appropriate equipment and processes to support service users in overcoming challenges related to their learning disability.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
Proven experience working with service users who have learning disabilities.
Understanding of the complexities associated with learning disabilities and the impact on daily functioning.
Ability to identify and recommend appropriate equipment and processes to enhance independence.
