As a key member of the game development crew, you will play a crucial role in crafting immersive and visually stunning user interfaces, experiences, and displays for upcoming PC and console games.
In your first few weeks in this UI/UX Artist role, you can expect to:
- Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for menus, in-game overlays, and interactive elements
- Collaborate with the game design and development teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience
- Design and implement displays HUD that enhances gameplay and provides essential information without disrupting immersion
- Create dynamic 2D animations for UI elements, transitions, and in-game events
- Develop eye-catching special effects to enhance visual impact during gameplay
To succeed in this UI/UX Artist role, you will need proven experience in UI/UX design for PC and console games and proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. You will also require the following:
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools
- Good 2D animation skills using software like After Effects
- Knowledge of special effects creation
- Portfolio showcasing UI and HUD designs, HUD elements, 2D animations, and emblem/symbol designs for games
- Understanding of game design principles and player experience
