Senior Business Development Manager

We have an opportunity for aBusiness Development Manager for Modular Control Systems to join our Honeywell team to cover the market of the UK, Ireland, Benelux and Scandinavia. You will be based in office in Manchester. The office holds a fully equipped demo-room. You will be visiting customers and/or hosting customer visits to our demo-room each working week. We offer a hybrid working arrangement (work from home).

As aBusiness Development Manageryou will be promoting, demo-ing and selling Modular Control Systems (PLCs, Panel PCs, Safety Systems) both direct to industrial end users and OEMs, as well as through Honeywell authorized Channel Partners (Distributors, System Integrators).
You will deliver orders and drive profitability, improve business development to grow the opportunity pipeline in target markets / customer segments (OEM), drive competitive & portfolio differentiation to improve profitability and win rate.

Key requirements

· Achieve AOP (Annual Operating Plan) orders

· Drive the opportunity pipeline to 4x of orders target

· Business development for product line – End user / EPC account development, OEM

· Drive product line specific growth initiatives and sales of NPI (New Product Introduction)

· Drive Channel Partners sales growth, provide business development support to assure Channel Partners achieve their AOP

· Monitor product line specific competitive, market, NPI and win loss trends for agile corrective actions to grow market share

Basic Qualifications:

·
BS or BA or BE Degree - Preferred in: Engineering, Automation, Technology or Business (or equivalent knowledge / experience in these fields) MBA preferred

· Experience working with front end customer facing roles including sales, services and/or project management.

· Strong product line (PLCs, Control Systems) and industry knowledge

· Knowledge and relationship with target market customers
