Days of work: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, term-timeHours of work: 3.15 - 4.30pm (which potential for additional hours across the federation)The children, staff and governors of Newlands Federation would like to appoint an After School Play Worker with a passion for health and wellbeing to join our fun loving and supportive team. We are a federation of two small school communities dedicated to providing the very best education for our enthusiastic learners, with provision from aged 2 to 11. The role will be based at Clandon, but there may be opportunity for additional hours across both schools.
The role involves leading activities during our ‘Active Hour’, with a focus on a range of sports and games across the week. You will be working closely with a colleague to plan and organise activities, sometimes together and sometimes splitting into two groups. You do not need to be a qualified sport coach for this role – the focus is on being active and having fun. Our team can guide you regarding appropriate activities and we have a range of sporting equipment available to use.
