Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Credit Controller to join the team at Lincat in the Accounts Team based full time in the offices in Lincoln.

Our company manufactures 50,000 products each year and exports to 80+ countries. We have great products, great people, and great customers. To enable us to continue building our business we are looking to recruit a self-motivated and experienced Credit Controller.

The successful candidate that joins our Accounts Team will provide a credit control service to the company and our customers.

Our Accounts teams requires candidates that can demonstrate the following:

• Building relationships with customers to provide an accurate, efficient, and consistent credit control service.
• Managing the sales ledger accounts, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, and reconciling against invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery.
• Evaluate new credit requests including checking credit ratings to decide whether to allow credit and advising on credit limits.
• Perform ongoing evaluation of credit limits for existing customers to minimise risk of exposure to bad debts.
• Communicate with other departments within the organisation with regards to processing and despatch of orders dependent on status of customer’s account.
• Set up new customer accounts, including web-based accounts, obtain references and customer confirmation of terms.

The Skills and Knowledge we would be looking for in the successful candidate are:

• Highly experienced in credit control practices and procedures
• Computer literate and able to work with accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
