Introduction
Our client, in the highway transportation sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer/PM for a contract position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organisation and contribute to the development and improvement of highway infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage highway engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate with stakeholders, such as contractors, consultants, and local authorities, to ensure successful project execution
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards and compliance with regulations
- Prepare and review technical design reports, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation measures
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior staff members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project outcomes
- Stay up–to–date with industry trends, standards, and best practices
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in highway engineering and project management
- Strong knowledge of HTP (Highway Transportation Projects)
- Proficiency in designing and delivering highway infrastructure projects
- Excellent understanding of relevant regulations and standards
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem–solving and decision–making abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
