Salary Scale: £86 to £100 per day

If so, GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic Behaviour Teaching Assistants to join client schools in
Sheffield .
This presents an excellent opportunity for either an experienced professional or an individual with a strong passion, dedicated to creating a positive influence on the lives of students with diverse education needs.
About the Role:
As a Challenging
Behaviour 1:1 Support, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive and nurturing environment for students who face behavioural challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Individualised Support : Providing one-on-one guidance and assistance tailored to the specific needs of each student with challenging behaviour.
- Positive Behaviour Reinforcement : Implementing strategies and techniques to encourage positive behaviours and minimise challenging behaviours.
- Emotional and Social Development : Supporting students in developing essential life skills, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
- Collaborative Approach : Working closely with teachers, school staff, and external professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student development.
- Progress Tracking : Regularly monitoring and documenting student progress, adapting your support as needed to promote growth and improvement.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviour.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
