Student Funding Manager

Saïd Business School, Park End Street, Oxford

Grade 7: £36,024 - £44,263 per annum

Permanent, full time

The Student Funding Manager is a pivotal role within the School’s Central Programme Services, situated in the Student Services Department. Reporting to the Head of Central Programme Services, the post-holder will lead the management and coordination of funding for all degree programmes, providing expert guidance to candidates and students on funding options.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee and administer all funding, including scholarships, bursaries and loan schemes for degree programmes.

Be an expert on the entire funding portfolio, providing proactive guidance to candidates and students on eligibility requirements and application procedures.

Contribute to the Scholarship Committee, managing processes for selecting and distributing scholarships, and producing reports and bids as directed.

Contribute to the development of institutional student funding policies and procedures, positively impacting efficiency and service quality.

Manage and evolve the Scholar Experience, providing bespoke support for high-profile scholarships.

You should have a proven track record of providing strategic and operational advice, encompassing the presentation of financial data and bid management. You must also have demonstrated effective and authoritative collaboration with clients or customers, showcasing the ability to resolve concerns and difficulties calmly to ensure an excellent client/customer/ student experience.
