Hours of Work:          40 per week, Mondays to Fridays 7:30am to 3:30pm

We are looking to recruit a temporary  Environmental Services Operative to join our established team to provide seasonal cover. At MSV Housing we’re committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes and our Environmental Service Operatives are key to make this happen. Reporting to our Environmental Services Supervisor our Environmental Services Operatives undertake cleaning, landscaping and general repairs and maintenance works, including property clearances, waste removal, decoration works and environmental maintenance and inspections.

What will you be doing;

• You’ll deliver estate-based services including landscaping, cleaning, minor repairs and maintenance and general environmental services.
• You’ll prepare and interpret specifications, schedules of work and working drawings.
• Keep up to date with current Health & Safety legislation and conduct health and safety HHSRS inspection recording
• Deliver a customer focussed service whilst liaising effectively with our clients and customers.
• Working closely with our wider trade operatives to provide an outstanding void turn round time
• Ability to drive a Tow trailer or willing to work towards 

To fulfil the duties of the role the successful candidate will require a full valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the north-west. MSV also operates an on-call rota which all operatives are required to participate in.

What we are looking for;

• Possession of a qualification relating to landscaping and the environment is desirable, or relevant experience in landscaping and environmental services.
• Experience in the delivery of landscaping, environmental duties and maintenance
• Working knowledge of the delivery of window cleaning services, H& S inspections, general cleaning.
• Ability to prepare and interpret specifications, schedules of work and working drawings
• Knowledge of delivering estate-based services including landscaping, cleaning, minor repairs and maintenance, and general environmental services
• To be conversant with current Health & Safety legislation, health, and safety HHSRS inspection recording
• Ability to tow a trailer is desirable
