Car/Van Driver in Featherstone

As a Car/Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of goods and materials within the driving industry. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our client's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a car/van for the transportation of goods and materials.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured safely for transit.
- Plan routes effectively, taking into consideration traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues and clients, providing timely updates and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Adhere to company policies and transport regulations, including maintaining driving logs and records.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects promptly to the appropriate person.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possession of a valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver, with a good driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with colleagues and clients.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Flexibility in working hours and availability to work weekends and public holidays if required.
Pay Rate: £11.00 per hour
