We are the official archive and publisher for the UK government and guardians of over 1,000 years of iconic national documents.Our Estates and Facilities department are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Capital Projects Administrator. You will join a small team delivering projects to maintain and transform the building and facilities, to provide an environment suitable for visitors, staff and the preservation of the collection.In this role you will assist in facilitating the smooth running of these projects, ensuring timely delivery, accurate record keeping and document management, while upholding the professional reputation of The National Archives. You will require a keen eye for detail, good written and verbal communications skills, strong IT skills and have the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.Ideally you will be familiar with public sector practices and be prepared to undertake Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Health, Safety & Environmental assessment (if not already held).This is a full time post. However, requests for part-time working, flexible working and job share will be considered, taking into account at all times the operational needs of the Department. - Good problem-solving skills to resolve any potential issues to reduce impact on projects.
