From R&D to industrial-sized plants, their commitment to quality under cGMP conditions is unwavering. Join them in creating stand-alone machines and fully integrated production lines that shape the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

They are seeking an exceptional EC&I Engineer to be a key player in their Eastleigh office. You'll be involved in the entire control system engineering process, from requirement specification to design, test, and commissioning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within an ISO 9001 and ATEX environment, adhering to industry expectations for documentation and quality.

As an Automation Hardware Engineer, your role will encompass:

- Reviewing and establishing project scope and deliverables.
- Designing hardware specifications for the control system.
- Creating electrical and pneumatic designs.
- Developing control loop diagrams.
- Selecting equipment and compiling equipment listings.
- Generating cable and tubing schedules.
- Sizing and designing electrical switchgear.
- Creating PLC input/output listings.
- Requesting procurement of necessary control system elements.
- Providing support for equipment manufacture and testing.
- Assisting in on-site commissioning and qualification of equipment.

We are looking for candidates with:

- Background in control systems-related electrical and pneumatic hardware design.
- 5+ years of relevant hardware design experience.
- HNC/D in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Design engineering, Electrical switchgear/motor control design, Process Instrumentation, Ex. Hazardous area control system design, Functional safety design, and relevant software packages (PromisE, E3, EPlan, AutoCad).
- Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI's.
- Experience in control system testing, commissioning, and qualification activities.
- Understanding of Life Science industry regulatory requirements (GAMP).

Salary & Benefits:


- Salary up to £50,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
- 25 days of annual leave, in addition to public bank holidays.
- Mandatory shutdown for Christmas & New Year (3 days to be used).
- Company Pension Scheme - 5% Employer and 4% Employee contribution (of base salary) after 3 months of employment.
- Death in service as part of the pension scheme.
