Graduate Teaching Assistant | Nottingham, NG2 | £85 - £100 per day | Long Term - Permanent | Full Time | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our partner secondary school as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support the learning and progress of students across various subjects within the secondary school curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career in education to gain invaluable experience in a dynamic school environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students, reinforcing learning objectives and ensuring understanding of lesson content
• Provide 1-1 and small group support to students, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to the development of creative and engaging teaching materials
• Create and build strong relationships with students, providing support and guidance
• Keep track of student progress, reporting back to relevant members of staff

Requirements:

• A University Degree. A relevant degree is desirable e.g. Education, Psychology
• Previous experience of working with children/young people on an individual or group basis
• Awareness of potential barriers to learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
