SEN Teacher
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our passionate team. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement creative and adapted lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to ensure individualised support is provided.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Create and modify curriculum content to make it accessible to all students in the class.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to provide consistent and effective support in the classroom.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss student progress, share insights, and plan interventions.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Regularly assess and adjust plans to reflect the evolving needs of each student.
- Track and assess student progress, providing detailed reports to parents and school leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements and challenges.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and additional qualifications in Special Education.
- Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of different learning styles and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both students and Teaching Assistants.
