Job description
THE COMPANY: A Professional Sports Club is looking to appoint a Business Development Executive, who will be responsible for driving the growth of the Commercial Partnerships Department through proactive lead generation, strategic package development, and effective negotiation.
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Commercial Partnerships Director, the successful candidate be a motivated and talented individual looking to join a dynamic Commercial Partnerships Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business leads for the Commercial Partnerships Department.
- Research key companies, sectors, and individuals to identify potential partners.
- Develop tailored rights packages for potential partners based on their unique needs.
- Initiate and coordinate calls and meetings to engage with prospective partners.
- Support the negotiation process for new partnership deals, ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.
THE PERSON:
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify and target key prospects.
- Proven experience in new business development and sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential partners.
- Ability to develop and present compelling proposals tailored to the needs of prospective partners.
- Negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
- A passion for sports and a desire to contribute to the growth of a leading sports organization.
