De Vere Beaumont Estate set in Old Windsor has a magnificent Georgian manor house as its centrepiece and is our largest hotel estate with 429 bedrooms, 45 meeting & event spaces, and over 40 acres of grounds. Meeting & Events Conversion Executive
What is the main purpose of the role?
The Meetings and Events Sales Conversion Executive will proactively convert key event business of provisional Conference, Corporate and Banqueting business for your property.
The focus will ultimately be on proactively converting key event business from provisional conference, corporate and banqueting enquiries, mainly focusing on business from £10,000 to £25,000. You will complete daily chase calls and activities, and identify and possible group opportunities from new appointments, always ensuring that all clients and potential clients receive a show round.
You’ll follow up on all conference/events business to secure future dates from past clients, attend and host FAM trips, account manage your own portfolio and carry out show rounds; whilst always striving to meet and exceed client expectations in terms of support, quality and service.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience of event enquiry handling of show rounds would be ideal, alongside some experience in what mystery show round requirements would entail. You will be results driven and process orientated, with a sense of urgency about achieving objectives through structured action plans and with little supervision.
We are looking for a real customer focused professional, who is ready to take responsibility for driving awareness of the Principal Hotel Company across all sectors. For this reason, you must be able to demonstrate that you are an influencer across all customer types, with clear experience and results in the conference training market.
