PROGRAMMER - HEIDENHAIN

HUDDERSFIELD

MUST have Programming experience.

MUST have at least 5 years CNC Machining experience.

SALARY

• £32,000 to £36,000 per annum (negotiable and dependant on experience).
• DAYS ROLE
• 39 hours Monday - Friday
• Canteen and Onsite Parking

JOB SUMMARY

Alecto are recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling machinist with programming experience using Heidenhain controls for a highly reputable company within the Huddersfield area. An established business machining components for the automotive sector of the industry. They have built up and maintained a high standard of quality and efficiency that excels in the manufacturing sector and now due to growth and expansion are now looking to add to their highly skilled machining team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program, set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
• To read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures and work holding devices.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence specifications.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role - with PROGRAMMING experience.
• Familiarity with tooling, power tools and hand tools used in machining operations.
• Ability to assemble components using various techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine principles.
