About the role:

As a Recovery and Opportunities Coordinator, your role is centred around developing, implementing, and monitoring an in-house Recovery and Opportunities Programme that encompasses key focus areas of relationships, mental and physical health, substance use, and learning opportunities.

You are responsible for planning and facilitating group work sessions, supporting the staff team in client work, fostering partnership working, promoting social inclusion, and actively participating in developing a team approach.

With a strong emphasis on client empowerment and engagement, you will contribute to creating a psychosocial environment conducive to recovery and healthy social relationships. 

We have two ROC roles available;

• one full-time role (37.5hrs per week) working across our multiple disadvantage housing schemes in Islington
• one full-time role (37.5hrs per week) working across our mental health supported housing schemes in Wandsworth.

About you:

• Experience of developing, facilitating and coordinating groups and activities (including supporting others to do so too), with a demonstrable understanding of group dynamics.
• Demonstrable understanding of engaging and motivating people who experience multiple disadvantage, with an awareness of the issues that may make this process challenging.
• Demonstrable understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and how they are likely to impact on the role.
• Experience of developing and maintaining positive partnership relationships with a range of internal and external services. 
• A commitment to actively promoting inclusivity and diversity in professional practice.

Our attractive benefits package includes:

• A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
