Lead Auditor
Location:
Derby / Remote based
Salary / Benefits:
£38,000 - £50,000 - dependant on experience plus package
Company Information:
An independent certification body, originally accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as the only internationally accredited certification body specifically established for the railway industry. is seeking an experienced Lead Auditor who have experience within a railway sector and experience in auditing to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- National registration as a Lead Auditor
- At least 3 years demonstrable experience in the rail sector
- A general engineering background or equivalent technical experience
- Technical qualifications to HNC/HND level or equivalent
- Competence in desision making, report writing and presentation skills.
- Fully conversant and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office,
- Experienced in the delivery of management system audits to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Personal Track Safety Certificate
Role Information;
- Lead audit teams, undertake contract delivery and ensure audits are carried out in compliance with international standards and internal procedures.
- Ensure that the certification of management systems is carried out.
- Authorise and monitor the standard of audit reports.
- Ensure audits are carried out without prejudice and are of adequate and equal standing
