We are looking for a SAP IT Support Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen.

Responsible for first line SAP support for an Oil and Gas client, our SAP IT Support Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's SAP landscape. This landscape comprises a range of cutting-edge technologies, including S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP IAM, BTP, SAC, and CPI.

As the go-to expert for SAP support, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving any issues that arise, providing timely and effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Your in-depth knowledge of these SAP technologies will enable you to quickly analyze and diagnose problems, ensuring minimal disruption to the company's business processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the IT department and business users, to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance and support. Your strong interpersonal skills will be key as you collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver exceptional support and service. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging your expertise to enhance existing processes and drive efficiency.

Requirements

Accountabilities

• Timely resolution of SAP incidents, service requests and implementation of minor enhancements
• Maintaining an up-to-date, reliable SAP landscape
• Working as part of ERP Team to support SAP landscape to support Business Analysts, SAP partner and key business stakeholders.

Key Duties

• Researching system problems and providing timely resolution
• User Maintenance
• Master Data Maintenance: Cost Centres/WBS/GLs/Business Partners – Customer/Vendors/Custom Tables
• Workflow remediation
• Support half yearly Upgrades and Hotfixes
• Support S4 interfaces
• Support and run Month-end activities
• Vendor support
• Migrate Change Projects and Software collections to Production, adhering to defined change control and compliance procedures.
• Coordinate testing, cutover activities, and manage support for SAP landscape

Professional Skills & Experience

• Experienced in the administration and technical support of a SAP ECC/S4 Hana environment or ERP system, preferred not essential
• SAP ECC or S4 Hana experience in Finance and Supply Chain preferred not essential
• Oil and Gas experience preferred not essential
