Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Process Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Dundee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop specific processes or recipes for Laser ablation, drilling and dicing of metallised ferrite and ceramic wafers using a femto-second laser system.
- Develop specific processes for thick film deposition of ferrite and ceramic wafers.
- Develop tooling and programs for automated assembly of RF components using pick and place equipment.
- Develop tooling and programs for automated glue dispensing.
- Support the internal qualification lab in all process qualification activities as required.
- Lead the training required for new product introduction & create necessary work instructions for new processes.
- Develop specific processes for dicing metallised ferrite and ceramic wafers
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of passive RF components & systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of materials such as adhesives, ferrite & ceramics.
- Excellent knowledge of process modelling and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Frequent application & use of technical standards, principles, concepts & techniques.
- Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the Company's goals.
