Sunderland Council Adult Social Care are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us to provide comprehensive sensory support to the Head of Adult Social Care.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team supporting the Head of Adult Social Care in his role and function of delivering a modern, person centred approach to residents with social care needs. The successful applicant will have significant understanding and experience of Adult Social Care and associated legislation as well as being a highly organised self starter able to coordinate and deliver their own workload and support the organisation and completion of the workload of the Head of Adult Social Care. Attention to detail and the ability to work within a highly complex and fast paced environment are essential. The normal place of work will be varied across the City and dependent upon the working demands of the Head of Adult Social Care. Access to a car or access to a means of mobility support (if driving must have current valid driving licence and appropriate insurance) is desirable. This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
