Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is thrilled to present this exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Birmingham (Erdington).

What you'll do:

1 Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, working closely with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans in a classroom in Erdington.
2 Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters engagement and achievement.
3 Implement a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to address specific learning difficulties and disabilities.
4 Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each child.
5 Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school community where every child feels valued and respected and be the best SEN Teaching Assistant you can be within Erdington.

Qualities we're looking for:

* A warm and patient personality with a genuine interest in supporting children with SEN.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills being a SEN Teaching Assistant.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Creativity and initiative, along with a commitment to finding new and innovative ways to support learning.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile being a SEN Teaching Assistant within an Erdington school.

Qualifications preferred:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification in SEN or a related field.

Experience working with children with a range of SEN needs.

Proficiency in relevant SEN legislation and frameworks.

A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
