Job description
We are working with our long standing client, Gledhill Building Products Ltd, based on Sycamore Trading Estate in Squires Gate, FY4,to recruit for 10 TIG welders!
They develop and manufacture a wide range of vented and unvented hot water cylinders.
They are happy to recruit TIG welders with varying backgrounds, from just qualified and taking on a trainee to position to experienced TIG welders.
The role will be temporary to start, with a view to being taken on permanently.
The TIG Welder hours are Monday – Friday: Day shift 6 am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday Back shift 2.30pm to 12.30am Monday -Thursday – 20% shift premium due to unsocial hours
TIG Welder pay is from £12.81 – £15.03
The TIG welder role will involve:
* TIG welding on various metal components and structures. *Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding specifications. *Setting up welding equipment and selecting appropriate welding techniques based on the project requirements. *Fabricating and assembling metal parts using welding techniques. *Inspecting welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. *Use of power tools and hand tools to prepare materials for welding. *Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
