Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the SEN Coordinator and classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of differentiated teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists to support holistic development.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that promotes the overall well-being of students with SEN.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or equivalent role.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience in working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
