We are looking for a SOC Analyst to join us at our established corporate client site in London where you will be based out of a modern and engaging work office featuring collaborative spaces and cutting-edge technology to inspire creativity and foster productivity among employees. In this role th e SOC Analyst will be compliance led and analytical in their approach. The Analyst will have a good understanding of the relevant British Standards and always work in-line with the Clients policies and procedures. We are looking for individuals who are experienced in operational and security monitoring, will thrive under pressure and when working to tight deadlines.

This is an ideal role for an experienced SOC Analyst seeking to join a specialised team within a face-paced environment. To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate an understanding of Structed Query Language (SQL) and data visualisation and use these skills to deliver on their role effectively and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have sound technical experience and skills, blended with a naturally pragmatic and solution focussed approach, they will be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Understanding the importance of innovation and transforming processes to ensure continuous improvement is a pre-requisite for this role. You will be expected to hit the ground running, learn fast and work collaboratively with contract and client management to improve processes.

A typical day in the life as a SOC Analyst: 

• Manage the day-to-day monitoring of all key systems (CCTV, Alarms, Travel, Media, Building Management, Fire Safety).
• Manage the centralised incident reporting and escalation procedure, responding effectively to incidents and escalations from a Physical & Technical incident management perspective. Participating in Incident & Crisis Management, exercises, tests, and training, as required by the client.
• Create compliance reports, support the audit process, measure SOC performance metrics, and report on security operations to the Site Security Manager and the client.

• SIA licence is required for this role (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with queries
• Proven Data Analysis experience
• Experience with using and managing the use of Access Control Systems (ACS) equipment
