Trust Semi Senior - Top 30 Firm

London (Hybrid) - £30,000 - £37,500 + Excellent Benefits

Do you have at least 1 year experience within Personal Tax with at least 30% of your portfolio being in Trusts?

Are you looking to progress your Trusts careers in one of the Top Trusts teams in London? If the answer is yes then join this esteemed Top 30 practice as a Trust Semi Senior and take on a pivotal role managing a diverse portfolio of trust clients, estates, and probates.

With over 300 trusts in their care, along with small private charities and individual clients and their families, this role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

* Act as the primary point of contact for trust clients, providing expert advice and guidance on various matters related to trusts, estates, and probates.
* Prepare client trust, estate, and probate work, including tax returns and accounts, as well as IHT and CGT forms as required.
* Advise clients on trust wind-up, income distributions, and tax management, while ensuring effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* Identify opportunities for process optimization and work closely with senior colleagues to implement changes aimed at enhancing efficiency.
* Stay updated on developments in trust, estate, and probate tax legislation, HMRC policies, and relevant case law through training and research.
* Ensure compliance by registering trusts with the Trust Registration Service (TRS) and submitting necessary client ID documents.
* Support the trust team in achieving departmental fee targets and collaborate with colleagues from other departments, such as Personal Tax.
