Project Manager - Utilities & Power Distribution

London

£55,000 - £65,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Travel Expenses + Company Pension + Medical

Are you an experienced Project Manager who has worked on projects in the Utilities or Power sectors and want a new challenge in your career where you can be a part of a growing international business that is carrying out work for some of the largest names in the Renewable Energy sector?

This company have already established themselves as a UK leader in delivering high-value projects in the Utilities and Civil Engineering sectors covering things such as HV infrastructure, Telecommunications, EV Charge Points and Building Services. They are now starting to expand their reach globally off the back of their successful partnering with well-known international businesses, and they are looking for a number of new members to join the side of the business based in England.

In this role you will be managing projects in and around London for a range of works relating to power transmission, distribution and general cabling. This will involve managing the financial aspects of projects including invoicing and budgeting, as well as ensuring projects are carried out in a timely and safe manner.

The ideal candidate will come from a Power or Utilities background where they have worked in a project management role, preferably relating to HV cabling works although this is not essential. They will need to be comfortable with travel around London.

The role:
* Overseeing projects being carried out for cabling, power transmission and distribution projects
* Ensuring works are carried out on-time, in-budget and in accordance with H&S regulations
* Managing all financial aspects of projects including quotation process, budgeting and invoicing
* Monitoring and reviewing project progress
* Inputting into company-wide commercial management and business development activities

The person:
* Background in Utilities or Power sectors
* Previous experience in project management
* Strong working knowledge of H&S and CDM regulations
* Knowledge of Highway Authorities & Utilities Committee procedures & best practices (desirable)
* Full UK driving license
