Teacher of Maths

Job Type: – full time
Pay: MPS3-6 dependant on experience
Start date: September 24
Normal hours : 8.30-4pm (Staff training Wednesday 4.30pm finish)
Working under the guidance of senior staff, the applicant will lead, coordinate, and evaluate the teaching of maths across all 5 classes at Strive, working in collaboration with support staff who will always be present. The applicant will take responsibility for the development of schemes of work, assessment, and lesson planning. The applicant must have the specialist knowledge to assist and support other members of supporting staff in addition to ensuring all students can reach their potential. The majority of students work between Functional Skills Level Entry 2 to Level 2, but some students do have the ability to study higher level GCSE. We currently do not offer maths at A-Level.
