Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful School Business Manager to join one of our favourite schools in the Stockport area. Based in a Higher Education setting with a school rated as "Good" by Ofsted, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations day to day on the administration and financial systems, offering hands on support and guidance as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong experience in a educational setting who is looking to see the direct impact of their input into their school.
Key Responsibilties:
To manage and supervise administrative systems and dedicate focus to the planning, development and monitoring of support services in the school
To contribute to the development of training programmes and mentoring of staff
To organise the workloads of support staff to meet various needs throughout the school terms
To assist with the preparation of the schools revenue and annual budget for submission to the governing body
Take a lead role in the recruitment of all non teaching staff
To manage service contracts and provide in depth advice to the Governing Body
Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience of working within an educational setting or similar, overseeing internal support functions and managing resources
Senior level experience of recruiting and developing staff in various roles to meet the school or companies needs
Knowledge of implementing new systems and guiding internal change
Hold or able to acquire an Enhanced DBS prior to starting this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position with a review for extension or a permanent offer towards its completion.
