UK date and time: 22-February-2024 11:45 Applicant Options New Search Login Job Details Help Terms of Use & Privacy Policy Job Details HR Administrator (maternity cover) Department for Continuing Education, Rewley House, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JA Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a HR Administrator who will play an essential role within the day-to-day administration of the departmental HR Function. About the role This is a varied and engaging role, reporting to the HR Officer and to the Departmental Administrator and HR Manager. You will confidently advise line managers and members of staff on a wide range of queries, both straightforward and more complex, researching employment law and interpreting appropriate procedures as required. You will be a vital member of the HR team, providing administrative support to the team and contributing to important project work. You will implement university HR policy and procedure throughout the employee lifecycle. This is a full-time position, available on a fixed-term contract until end February 2025. About you You will be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, have experience of working within a HR role and be able to demonstrate current knowledge of employment law. You will have awareness of data protection and information security guidelines and an ability to clearly and accurately communicate HR processes and procedures, both verbally and in writing. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work within deadlines. You will have experience of providing customer service to a high standard and possess experience of Microsoft Office and Outlook, the successful candidate will also display a willingness to undertake professional development and training. Experience of working with an electronic HR system and experience of delivering presentations and induction would be advantageous.
