An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBand 7 Lead Practitionerto join Ealing Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. This new role will offer both clinical and leadership opportunities enabling the post holder to contribute to the continuing service development and to the delivery of excellent clinical care.

We are looking for an experienced CYP/CAMHS clinician with drive, enthusiasm and vision to lead and develop the transition pathway. Our candidate will have experience of working with children and young people aged 14 – 25 years old with suspected first episode psychosis. They will participate in delivering specialist mental health care to children and young people and their families within the Early Intervention service.

The role will include providing interventions and outreach work to children and young people as well as being the safeguarding children lead for the team and being the main interface link with CAMHS, and the Local Authority. You will also lead on multi-agency working, with a number of internal and external stakeholders involved in and essential to the young person’s care.

This is a fulltime post (WTE 1.0) working Monday to Friday, 9-5 hours. Based atEaling Early Intervention Service, Cherington House, Cherington Road, Hanwell.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership in facilitating holistic initial assessments, risk management, and delivery of EIP’s 7 core interventions in a consistent manner. This will be achieved by working in collaboration with the team manager, lead professionals and the rest of the MDT.

The Lead Practitioner will participate in the review of clinical policies and guidelines relevant to the service, supporting and implementing changes to practice as necessary. Additionally, they will liaise with other organisations and professionals to promote communication and good practice; be able to undertake audit activity and supervision to other staff in service.
