Role Description
The Business Development Executive (Junior) role will report directly to the Business Development Manager.
You will strategically prospect for new opportunities through outbound calls and emails, and effective use of social media platforms. Targeting senior-level decision makers, you will secure the presentation slots with the potential clients.
Hunting for new business is vital in this role and you will need to be hungry to develop your own pipeline and establish relationships with clients.
Main Key Responsibilities
- Delivering on the weekly and monthly campaign targets for email and social outreach, which includes researching potential clients on LinkedIn,
- Sending personalized emails to prospects, and tracking campaign performance.
- Additionally, responsible for organizing and scheduling demonstrations, both in-person and remotely, for the Sugati BDM team.
Your profile
- A passionate, supportive team player with an enthusiastic, collaborative approach
- A confident communicator with a keen interest in the travel sector and a passion for technology
- Experience (not essential) working within a travel company, Ideally you have sold holidays before or at least know the concept of what’s involved in selling a hotel.
- Confident, resilient, and self-motivated
- Target driven and able to work under pressure with a high degree of integrity
- Quick learner able to establish a strong sales pipeline in an innovative market
- Highly committed, reliable, and trustworthy
- To hit the target numbers, you must be comfortable making phone calls, speaking, and presenting, particularly on the phone and via video links.
- You will report to a Sales Director and will deliver ambitious target numbers on a YoY basis.
Experience
Essential:
- Resourceful, and proactive with the ability to close large deals
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- High aptitude for quickly learning the product and associated technology
- Experienced of working in a professional team environment
- Presentation skills
Desirable:
- Experience in the Travel or Tech sector
Salary
Salary:
- £30,000-£35,000 per year depending on experience
